LED/Sapphire wafers are generally used in the electronics industry for their high strength, high anti-corrosion, high anti-abrasion, low dielectric loss and good electrical insulation. While single crystal sapphire wafer plays an increasingly important role as a material for blue LED and high-tech superconductor and microwave application; LED wafers are used in mobile phone LCD screens and keypads as well as flashlights for camera phones.
