Accuride Corporation (OTCBB: ACUZ), one of the largest and most diversified manufacturers and suppliers of commercial vehicle components in North America, today announced that MAC Trailer Manufacturing (MAC) is offering its customers weight savings opportunities through Accuride lightweight wheel-end components.
Accuride is MAC’s standard supplier for steel wheels, aluminum wheels, Gunite® slack adjusters, and Gunite GOLD(TM) brake drums.

This weight savings can translate into greater fuel economy or the ability to carry additional load.”
Accuride has a complete family of lightweight steel and aluminum wheels with weights as low as 66 pounds for steel wheels and 47 pounds for aluminum wheels, while Gunite’s GOLD drum not only provide consumers with a lightweight drum option, but also provides superior brake performance and longer service life which can translate to less downtime and reduced operating costs.
