Russel Metals and United Steelworkers to Renew Collective Agreement

Russel Metals Inc. (TSX:RUS) today announced that the Company and the United Steelworkers concluded their negotiations for the renewal of the collective agreement and the employees have ratified a five year contract to January 2014.

This contract covers employees at five plants in British Columbia.

Brian R. Hedges, President and CEO, stated "We are pleased to have come to a positive conclusion in our discussions. Our employees voted in favour of acceptance at all locations."
