Tim Freeman, Director of Operations for Freeman Technology, will talk about "The nature of powders - understanding and measuring powder flowability" as part of a programme of presentations and trials at Gericke's customer seminars in January 2011.
Gericke AG, supplier of total packages for conveying, feeding and mixing projects for the processing of bulk materials, is running its Powder Handling and Processing seminars from 25-27 January 2011 at the company's facility in Regensdorf, Zurich. To view the invitation and programme go to www.gericke.net
As a guest speaker, Tim Freeman will line up alongside specialists from Gericke who will cover topics that include batch and continuous mixing, pneumatic conveying systems, and trends in feeding technology. The presentations are combined with practical sessions in the Gericke Test Centre, where there will also be a demonstration of Freeman Technology's FT4 Powder Rheometer.
"I feel very privileged to be invited to speak at Gericke's event," said Tim Freeman. "Our work with the FT4 Powder Rheometer provides an extra dimension to the presentations from the Gericke team and will illustrate the importance of characterizing powder behaviour in a process relevant way, and how this can be done."
