Borouge, a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions, is reinforcing its commitment to the Indian plastics industry by presenting its broad product portfolio at PLASTIVISION INDIA from 20 to 24 January 2011.
Visitors to Borouge's booth, at Hall 6, Stand C080, will experience firsthand the Company's innovative and sustainable plastics solutions for advanced packaging and infrastructure applications.
Spurred by strong economic development and a robust growth, Borouge offers a wide range of innovative solutions, based on its proprietary Borstar technology, to address the specific needs of customers in India in the advanced packaging and infrastructure markets.
With the addition of Bormod HD915CF PP homopolymer to its packaging product portfolio, Borouge brings significant performance benefits to cast PP (CPP) film structures. The latest Bormod polypropylene (PP) resin grade for multilayer co-extrusion structures raises film performance, enables up to 30% downgauging, and realises substantial cost savings for the packaging value chain.
In addition, the Indian infrastructure market will benefit from BorECO PP which delivers an optimum balance of high stiffness and high impact strength for sewerage pipe systems. Sewerage pipe systems made from BorECO materials are durable, resistant to chemicals and environmental exposure, and have a long maintenance free service life.
Borouge will also highlight the light weighting possibilities for beverage closures through the use of enhanced polyolefins, multimodal HDPE and nucleated PP. Offering a step change in innovation, the BorPure MB6561 grade has answered the industry's demand for reduced material consumption and enhanced processability to lower cost in the manufacture of caps and closures. Borouge also provides a range of plastic resins that offer improved organoleptics to achieve the "as bottled" taste of mineral waters and carbonated beverages.
"PLASTIVISION INDIA 2011 is a unique opportunity for us to reinforce our commitment to being a long-term reliable partner to our customers in the region," says Pushp Singhvi, Managing Director of Borouge in India. "Market statistics have shown that the Indian plastics industry has been growing at a tremendous rate of 15% over the past few years. Our significant investments and proprietary Borstar technology allow us to stand above the competition in India and around the world."
