Smithers, the information business within Smithers Rapra, announces the second international conference on High Performance Plastics will be held on 23-24 February 2011 in Cologne, Germany.
Supported by the iPolyCond project "Increasing the Knowledge Base of the European Polymer Industry in relation to New Conductive Polymers", this conference will be dedicated to the advances in plastic materials that are tuned to excel even in harsh environments and tough service conditions.
This exciting and dynamic area is characterised by differentiation and diversity. The challenge is to create customised materials to meet the demands of today and to be ready for the new emerging applications of tomorrow. This High Performance Plastics conference will cover all aspects from the resins, to blends, specialty fillers, stabilisers, compatibilisers and other modifiers.
In addition to many cutting edge presentations, Daniel Vlasveld of ProMolding BV, Netherlands and an iPolyCond project member, is presenting a paper on the novel electrically conductive nanocomposites which are the subject of the iPolyCond project.
As well as learning about the materials themselves, this is the ideal opportunity to hear about industry trends, regulations that affect the future and how globalisation can impact your business.
It is also a great place to hear about new developments and forge alliances with suppliers and customers alike.
