Geami Announces 2000th Installation of Protective Paper Packaging System in 2010

Geami, Ltd, a leading manufacturer of paper packaging machines and materials, announced that 2010 marked the 2000th installation of the company's protective packaging system.

Sellers of cosmetics, bottle and jar food products and electronic components topped the 2010 list of companies that now use Geami's on-demand packaging materials to protect their products during small parcel shipping and handling.

The Geami Protective Packaging System

Announcing this milestone, Geami, Ltd.'s Business Development Director Lynn Moe explained, "Now, more than ever, companies that ship small parcels across the US are looking for ways to reduce costs, improve throughput in their shipping operations and lessen the environmental impact associated with the use of plastic materials such as bubble packaging. The Geami packaging machine and our paper based protective packaging materials offer solutions on all of these fronts." Moe added: "From a budget perspective, the cost benefits alone of the Geami System can be very compelling. But for many of the companies that placed our packaging machines in their shipping departments in 2010, moving to a recyclable, renewable protective packaging material was an added benefit towards also achieving their sustainability goals."
