Dow Corning will highlight solutions for medical device fabrication and wound care at MD&M West, booth 2433, February 8-10, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
At the tradeshow, Dow Corning will feature Dow Corning® QP1 Liquid Silicone Rubber, a two-part platinum-catalyzed silicone elastomer for short-term implant and non-implant medical device applications. This offering expands the solution set that Dow Corning currently brings to the healthcare market for medical device and component fabrication. It gives customers the choice to select the most appropriate product to meet their liquid injection molding needs.
Dow Corning will also showcase a line of advanced wound dressings, Dow Corning® Soft Skin Adhesives. The newest offering, Dow Corning® MG7-9900, allows for longer wear due to higher adhesion, while also permitting the dressing to be removed without harming delicate skin.
“Dow Corning’s innovative silicone solutions are designed to address the real challenges facing our nation’s healthcare system, such as the rising costs of medical care, and the needs of an aging population,” said James Stephenson, Dow Corning Healthcare global strategic marketing manager.
Other product offerings include adhesives; antifoams and antifoam emulsions; fluids, emulsions and dispersions; topical excipients; rubber and elastomers; and tubing and molded assemblies.
