Universal Steel Buildings designed and supplied a new 27,000 sq ft multi-functional Olympia Steel Buildings pre-engineered steel industrial building to Easton, Maryland glass company, Seger Glass.
The building includes retail, industrial and office space for the new glass manufacturing facility.
For more than 30 years, Seger Glass built a reputation for quality and service. When the decision had been made to expand their business, the owners opted to build a versatile yet affordable building that would accommodate all their business needs for office and retail space as well as an industrial area for the manufacture of their glass products. After looking at all their options, they agreed that pre-engineered steel buildings were the only way to go and contacted Universal Steel Buildings Corp, sole supplier of Olympia Steel Buildings.
The multi-use pre-engineered steel building designed and provided by Universal Steel Buildings Corp.’s metal building design technicians, estimators and consultants is both attractive and functional, displaying the best of metal buildings design and technology and providing the ample clearspan space the growing business would require.
The building is divided into four functional areas. The attractive new building features a 5,000 sq. ft. retail showroom and includes four offices and a lunchroom. Behind the showroom is a large industrial space with 30’ ceilings. Nine overhead doors provide easy access for bringing in raw materials and taking out finished product. Several large cranes were easily accommodated into the building design and make for easy transportation of materials inside the building.
“Olympia Steel Buildings have helped hundreds of growing businesses like Seger Glass build multi-functional buildings,” declared Arnold Davis, company President. “We understand that each company has specific space requirements and budgetary constraints and our sales technicians work with them every step of the way to design and supply a pre-engineered steel building that meets their unique business requirements.”
