Quality Management System of Apex Plastics Receives ISO Certification

Apex Plastics is proud to be able to announce that, in December 2010, Apex’s quality management system was independently audited and confirmed as being in conformity with ISO 9001:2008.

The ISO 9001:2008 standard provides a tried and tested framework for taking a systematic approach to managing an organization's processes so that they consistently turn out product that satisfies customers' expectations, meet applicable regulatory requirements, and achieve continual improvement of its performance in pursuit of these objectives.

To achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification, a company must develop and continually employ a quality management system (QMS) that address eight quality management principles.

The results of the ISO 9001:2008 certified quality management system is improved customer and partner satisfaction through better and timelier delivery of products and services, superior customer service, and continuous improvement in skills and competency of all of Apex’s employees.
