Provider of innovative sealing and adhesive technologies, Hernon Manufacturing has inked a joint venture deal with the ShenZhen Dover Technology, a China-based company, to establish a new joint venture called Hernon Dover.
As per the deal, Hernon Dover will offer repackaging, product endorsement and direct order fulfillment to its current network of Chinese suppliers and direct clients. The new joint venture’s initial task is to explore the opportunities to widen the utilization of Hernon’s high performance sealants and adhesives in the speaker and electronics production segments. Both companies are also planning an expansion into various industries, as Hernon Dover will get access to sell its extensive product portfolio comprising more than 300 products.
The new Hernon Dover label will provide several benefits to the Chinese customers. The products can be packaged and marketed locally and thus customers can experience reduced expenditures. As order fulfillment and endorsement will be done locally in ShenZhen, the joint venture can provide more responsive and quicker customer service. The joint venture can access new market segments, which procure chemicals from China.
The Chief Executive Officer at Hernon Manufacturing, Harry Arnon, commented that the company is happy about the joint venture deal with the local distributor as it is a perfect fit for its overall growth strategy to expand its products to new market segments.
The President of Hernon Dover, Paul Ye stated that the demand for industrial grade sealants and adhesives is higher than the existing available supply in China.
