Specialist in digital document management, Oce has introduced new vinyl products for inkjet printers utilized in display graphics solutions. Each media is developed for display graphics prints such as posters, banners, outdoor and indoor signs and more.
Oce solvent media can be utilized in majority of the big-format solvent inkjet printers from Seiko, Roland, Mutoh, Mimaki and Oce. They can also be utilized in numerous ultraviolet curable printers such as the Oce Arizona Series printers. Oce’s new media products are Frontlit Scrim Vinyl, Laminated Scrim Vinyl and Calendared Vinyl. The company has launched two media products under Frontlit Scrim Vinyl called SCRMMO10 and SCRMGO10.
The Frontlit Scrim Vinyl is a 10 oz material designed for ultraviolet curable, eco-solvent and solvent inject printers. It features a blockout layer and provides better dot control. It comes in a width range between 38² and 84² in matte and glossy finishes. It is suitable for trade show displays, construction site banners, backdrops and window displays.
The Laminated Scrim Vinyl is a 13 oz. material also developed for ultraviolet curable, eco-solvent and solvent inject printers. It features a blockout layer and is suitable for general-purpose banners demanding high tear resistance. It comes in a width range between 38² and 126² in matte and glossy finishes. SCRMGO13 and SCRMMO13 are the two newly released Laminated Scrim Vinyls.
Oce has introduced PSOCVPAG and PSOCVPAM under its Calendared Vinyl line. The 4 mil vinyl provides a stable solvent acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) and a wide range of color gamut. The PSA offers a permanent bond that sticks to almost any kind of mounting surfaces. It is ideal for long-term or short-term outdoor or indoor graphics and offers a minimum of three years of operating life in vertical outdoor exposure condition. It comes in a width range between 48² and 54² in matte and glossy finishes.
