China Green Material Technologies proclaimed that it has started the production operations at its new plant situated in the Harbin Economic and Technological Development Zone in Heilongjiang Province.
China Green Material develops and produces biodegradable packaging materials, tableware and containers using starch as raw materials. The new manufacturing plant will increase the total annual production capacity of finished products to about 20,000 tons from the current 9,000 tons, an increase of over 100%.
At the new facility, China Green Material will make products with different sizes. Automatic manufacturing systems and methods at the facility will reduce the company’s per-unit labor expenditures. The advanced production processes will reduce the wastage of raw materials.
In the new plant, China Green Material will utilize a double-layer sheet co-extrusion equipment to produce bi-color products to expand its offerings of finished products.
According to Su Zhonghao, CEO at China Green Material Technologies, the new facility will strengthen the company’s brand awareness and overall competitiveness in the global market. The facility will also improve the product quality and fulfill the demands of global customers, he added.
