The entire assets of Ohio-based Liquamelt, producer and distributor of patented Liquamelt adhesive technology, has been acquired by H.B. Fuller, one of the leading providers of adhesive systems.
With this acquisition, H.B. Fuller will exclusively offer the Liquamelt technology. The innovative and unique Liquamelt adhesive system is referred as Cool on Delivery – Hot on Demand technology, which will enable H.B. Fuller to help its customers to reduce cost and difficulty associated with their processes.
The adhesive is made from more than 40% renewable raw materials. It mixes easily with simple delivery system to form an adhesive solution that offers high performance and fast-bonding characteristics. At room temperature, the sustainable adhesive is flowable and reduces total energy consumption. Liquamelt also supports adhesive storage and handling at room temperature. The adhesive system can be maintained easily and does not get contaminated.
The company is now focusing to speed up the adoption of high-quality adhesive technology among its customers. For this, H.B. Fuller will leverage its technical skills as well as its position in the global market.
