Seal-Krete has released three new concrete coating systems that offer superior performance for commercial and residential flooring applications. The new flooring systems include Poly-Shell, Epoxy-Shell and Dura-Shell. Every flooring system is customized to address the functional and return to service demands of the project.
Seal-Krete’s Marketing Manager, Kevin Corcoran stated that the latest flooring systems of the company provide a broad range of artistic, reliable and return to service choices to architects and contractors. He mentioned that the required security and chemical resilience can be easily identified based on the number of coating layers included and the flooring system selected. He added that in addition, several default and tailored finishes as well color choices are provided to accomplish the desired look.
The Poly-Shell Systems offer faster return to service by providing maximum durability and the quickest cure. The system is resistant to ultra violet radiation, wear and tear, chemicals such as salt, gasoline and oil, and heat up to 350 F. The system is highly versatile and enables free motion inside the concrete without developing cracks. These properties make the system ideal for applications related indoor and outdoor environments such as restaurants, commercial kitchens, medical centers, production facilities, stadiums, driveways, universities and kennels.
The Epoxy-Shell system is ideally suited for indoor applications such as school hallways, shower and locker rooms, cafeterias, detention, and pharmaceutical and animal care laboratories. It is a cost-effective epoxy-based floor coating system that combines resilience with excellent adhesion to various substrates such as quarry tile, concrete and plywood floors. These chemical resilient systems can be applied in temperatures ranging between 50 F and 90 F with low speed dry times.
The Dura-Shell system is a two-part water-based urethane system. It offers excellent resistance to heat, chemicals, thermal shock and shrinkage. It is resistant to moisture and high humidity and offers superior adhesion properties. The systems are used in indoor and outdoor applications such as chemical processing facilities, food processing and bottling areas, kitchens, prison floors and pharmaceutical plants.
Clients can add aesthetic value to their projects by selecting between 10 standard quartz blends, 16 standard colors, 10 standard flake blends or a tailored combination. They can also avail embedded tailored layouts in well defined coat layers.
Corcoran mentioned that the company acknowledges the significance of selecting an appropriate floor coating system to address both performance and return to service needs of industrial and commercial settings.
