Liberty Packaging will display Intercept Technology Packaging at EASTEC 2011 to be held from 17 to 19 May, 2011 in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
The Intercept Technology series of barrier materials, developed by Bell Labs, will be featured at the event. The line includes Static Intercept, Corrosion Intercept, RIBS MVTR, ATCI and other products. Static Intercept is one of the extensively used Intercept packaging that offers both short and long term resistance to ESD, corrosion and fungal growth. The Intercept Technology packaging helps manufacturers of different sectors, including machinery, parts, metals and electronics, to deliver their products safely even in extreme climatic conditions.
The Intercept packaging is made from plastic embedded with copper. It deactivates the corrosive gases responsible for product damage and does not contain oils, volatiles and outgassing. Hence, the Intercept is safer than other packaging.
The Society of Manufacturing Engineers has sponsored the EASTEC event, which deals with five different categories such as Workholding and Machining Accessories; Precision Manufacturing Equipment and Systems Workholding and Machining Accessories; Design, Engineering, and Rapid Technologies; and Automation, Quality and Process Improvement
