CEPI (European Industrial Paint Centre) has announced that it will showcase its patented coating, which is resistant to peroxide decontamination at the BIO International Convention.
The event is scheduled for June 27-30, 2011 in Washington, D.C. CEPI is a pioneer in the renovation and reinstallation of wall coatings in cleanrooms and laboratories. The company mainly focuses on environmental friendliness, safety and quality of the products. CEPI is working with several leading laboratories and has planned for an expansion in the U.S.
In general, cleanrooms are disinfected by spraying hydrogen peroxide. This can create cracks in the paint that is found in the rooms’ partitions and panels. The cracks can be harmful to the manufacturing environment as well as the quality of the products. Hence, CEPI has developed a low-cost technology that is impervious to decontamination of organic hydrogen peroxide and eliminates the need to disassemble room panels and prevents disruption of laboratory work.
The coating of CEPI can be suitable for production rooms, positive and negative cold rooms, cleanrooms and white rooms. Thus, the company offers patented solution for businesses using peroxide decontamination.
