Techspray has released the Turbo-Coat HV Acrylic Conformal Coating. It can be used in several applications such as consumer electronic devices, aviation, industrial controls, meters and electronic assemblies.
The Turbo-Coat HV can be combined with new Turbo-Coat Thinner to reduce viscosity in order to meet the precise equipment needs without the risk of varying coating material properties.
The Turbo-Coat HV Acrylic Conformal Coating is exclusively developed to enhance the speed of board development throughput, thus avoiding the requirement of costly UV devices or other capital systems. Conformal coating cure time presents a significant manufacturing problem for PCB assembly tasks. The coating material dries perfectly within nine minutes, enabling developers to manipulate boards in minimum amount of time of the major acrylic coating.
The Turbo-Coat HV coating does not include chemical components featured under Hazardous Air Pollutants, which is listed by the U.S. EPA, nor Substances of Very High Concern as per the European REACH directive. Several conformal coating materials include dangerous solvents including Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Xylene and Toluene. The Turbo-Coat HV acrylic conformal coating does not contain dangerous and banned chemical substances, enabling easy management of regulatory and ventilation compliance.
The Turbo-Coat HV completely conforms to MIL-I-46048C and IPC-CC-830 specifications, which are the industrial acceptance standards for combustibility, adaptability, thermal shock, moisture resistance, temperature dielectric withstand voltage and other major conditions. It is also a V-0 rated tested product under the UL94 flammability specification, which is a testing norm established by UL. V-O is the minimum flammability rating fixed under UL94.
