Iowa-based, Chemical Sanitizing Systems has been acquired by Swisher Hygiene, a provider of hygiene and sanitation solutions to North American and global customers.
Chemical Sanitizing Systems offers a wide range of specialty chemicals and services, including floor cleaning, housekeeping, laundry and dish-washing to the hospitality and foodservice markets. Since 1990, the Iowa-based hygiene and chemicals firm serves Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa as well as parts of Wyoming.
According to Steven R.Barrard, CEO of Swisher Hygiene, the acquisition of Chemical Sanitizing Systems represents Swisher Hygiene’s commitment to expand its footprint in the Great Plains and Central US states. It also helps Swisher Hygiene to enhance their initiatives for faster growth in cleaning chemical, laundry, warewash and facility service businesses. Swisher Hygiene continues to further add potential companies to its business portfolio. As a part of the acquisition, Chemical Sanitizing Systems’ founder, John Nobel will join Swisher Hygiene.
