Priority Energy has expanded its energy efficacy services in the Chicagoland region with the inclusion of Aeroseal duct-sealing technology, which seals the leaks in heating and air conditioning systems.
In North America, more than 90% of existing and new commercial buildings and houses have leaks and tiny holes in their air duct systems, which are equal to keeping the doors in an open position. The Aeroseal duct-sealing technology is a clean and low-cost method, which assures extended operating life of the HVAC system and provides more energy savings, improved room comfort and superior air quality.
The Aeroseal duct-sealing technology uses a computer diagnostic test to locate the holes and leaks in the duct. After the house is set right, the sealing is done by injecting aerosol particles using a computer-controlled operation, which allows the particles to stick to the leaks and holes to form a tight seal from the interior.
Rectangular metal ductwork has a tendency to leak from the first day itself, even in newly constructed homes. According to the company, conventional tape and mastic sealing methods are not efficient, safe and healthy. The Aeroseal duct-sealing technology offers significant health benefits, mainly to persons suffering from allergy.
According to the founder and owner of Priority Energy, Rob Schildgen the cost-efficient, advanced technology tackles the duct systems issues that have been ignored in the past, making the systems highly effective.
