New Range of High-Purity Inorganic Compunds Avialble from LGC

LGC Standards, Europe's leading supplier of reference materials, has introduced a range of high-purity inorganic chemical compounds.

The compounds are manufactured by MV Laboratories Inc., USA, which specialises in the development and application of synthetic methods for the removal of trace impurities in the part-per-million range. This, combined with an expertise in inorganic synthesis, allows for the cost-effective production of hundreds of compounds with purities from 99.99% up to 99.9999%.

Available from LGC Standards, these inorganic chemicals of ultra-high-purity are in demand by chemists in research, development, industry and analytical sciences for chemical analysis and synthesis, fuel cell applications, lasers, crystal growth, nanotechnology, special ceramics and photonics. Custom synthesis is also available; hundreds of inorganic materials can be prepared for a variety of applications, in quantities ranging from a few grams to hundreds of kilograms.

Jane Firth, Sector Manager at LGC Standards said: "We serve customers over a wide range of sectors, and this new product range has an array of applications in research, product development, and various analytical sciences. While the products are all of the highest purity, we can supply them to suit the very different needs of our customers - from laboratory scale to semi-bulk quantities in flexible packaging sizes."
