EVOH copolymer resins from EVAL Europe are ideal for food applications. A layer of EVAL material maintains the quality and flavour of the milk by keeping oxygen from entering the package. The layer also protects the vitamin content in milk, thus serving as a functional barrier in food industry applications.
Mitsui Chemical Europe’s ADMER adhesive resin is used in multilayer applications like films in food packaging. It is an advanced polyolefin film that includes barrier materials like EVAL to protect the content from UV-light, odors and oxygen. The use of ADMER resin increases the shelf-life of the packed content.
