Kaiser Aluminum, one of the leading producers of specialty aluminum products for aerospace, general engineering, custom automotive and industrial applications, has started to expand its aerospace extrusion facility located in Chandler, Arizona.

Kaiser Alexco is the name of the facility and it produces hard alloy extruded shapes. The company has made an investment of about $11 million and the expansion work is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2011. In addition to extrusions, Kaiser Aluminum produces value-added drawn tube, cold finish products, sheet and plate.
