Mid-Mountain Materials, Inc., a leading manufacturer of environmental protection products and thermal insulation barriers, is pleased to announce that Mr. John Clarke has begun his tenure as Procurement Manager for the company. Mr. Clarke succeeds Ms. Gretchen Reimbold, who is now V.P. of Marketing.
In his new position, John Clarke will manage all purchasing functions of the company, including vendor relations, supply chain management, inventory management, and cost control of raw materials.
Commenting on the addition of John Clarke, Gretchen Reimbold said, "As Mid-Mountain continues to grow, it is imperative we have a Procurement professional in place who understands purchasing and materials management on a high level, and can incorporate the procedures and practices needed to grow the department in parallel with the growth of the company. John has all of the necessary qualities to do this, and has been a positive addition to the company."
John began his career as Purchasing Manager with Crane/Interpoint. After working for several years as the Senior commodity Manager at Eaton Cutler-Hammer, John accepted the Corporate Purchasing Manager position with Spacelabs Medical. Following several years of private consulting, John accepted his position with Mid-Mountain in December of 2010, and has been working with the Corporate and Manufacturing team to gain a better understanding of materials flow and manufacturing processes.
