Foamlinx is now offering foam cutting services along with its subsidiary, WeCutFoam. The company uses its customized line cutting equipment to provide these services.
Though many companies exist in the market providing foam cutting services, WeCutFoam assures exceptional customer service, competitive prices and understands customers’ requirements.
Foamlinx employs cutting machines with different dimensions and sizes that include efficient cutting on the horizontal and vertical, hot wire length, and other attributes such as type of cuts made either tapered or not tapered; number of foam blocks that can be sliced in one single cut and cutting speed capabilities. The FC2912 is a small foam cutter that is ideal for cutting letters, logos, fuselages and wings. The FC3920 and FC5539 machines, medium foam cutters, will slice similar shapes to the small foam cutter. The FC448 and the FC848 are large foam cutters utilized extensively by large sign manufacturers and construction contractors.
Hot wire systems from the company are used to cut different foam types: EPP, XPS and EPS. Foamlinx’s laser cutters will be used to cut soft polyurethane foams and acrylics. In addition, laser cutting and engraving machines can be utilized to produce cuts on other foam types, including MDF for vacuum molding forms, polycarbonate for engraving and cutting, polystyrene for props, signs, crown moldings and packaging, EVA foam for tool trays, packaging and three-dimensional shapes and polyurethane for gun cases, insulation and packaging. The entire range of foam cutters from Foamlinx is controlled by a computer and they are delivered with a specific cutting software.
