At the 2011 PVSEC exhibition, Heraeus Photovoltaic Business Unit will feature its SOL9410 and SOL9411 front-side metallization pastes for crystalline solar cells. The event will be held in Hamburg, Germany from September 5 to 8. Heraeus will also discuss several other innovative products at the event.
The company is continually enhancing its metallization pastes to address the solar industry’s need to minimize the cost-per-watt of photovoltaic systems. The development of new generation metallization pastes, SOL9410 and SOL9411, has enabled Heraeus’ clients to minimize the paste usage for solar cells by 20% compared to its competing product, SOL9235H.
SOL9410 and SOL9411 also provide high efficiency and processing benefits to customers and they surpass the quality of the standard solar cell pastes. These pastes are designed for changing emitter concentrations and depths. The SOL9410 and SOL9411 series of pastes deliver exceptional aspect ratio and contact quality on a wide range of wafers and emitters.
Heraeus manufactures large volumes of thick film pastes for major companies within several industries. The Heraeus Photovoltaics Business Unit uses its innovative technology and offers silver pastes for crystalline solar cells. Heraeus’ SOL Series of metallization pastes is particularly formulated to deliver higher efficiencies and broader processing windows that result in better yields and greater output for solar cell manufacturers.
