RPC Containers Blackburn is supplying Snack Pot, a user-friendly packaging, to Symington’s, which has a rich history of success for more than 180 years based on offering great tasting dried food. RPC’s Snack Pot is used to pack Golden Wonder: The Nation’s Noodle.

RPC Blackburn uses distinctive black polypropylene (PP) to produce custom Snack Pots using injection molding technique. The use of PP enhances the appearance of Symington’s brand. Snack Pots are supplied to Symington’s in two different sizes: 550ml and 430ml. These pots feature vertical flutes, which help to scatter heat from the top of the box and ensure safe handling. RPC Blackburn’s packaging also includes a generous labelling area to improve on-shelf branding opportunities.
Since its launch in 2009, Golden Wonder: The Nation’s Noodle is worth more than £8 million in less than three years. In 2010, The Nation’s Normous Noodle was launched which is 25% larger than the standard pack size. Since July 2011, Golden Wonder: The Nation’s Noodle and The Nation’s Normous Noodle are supplied with packaging that includes on-pack promotion and comedy film advertisement. Symington’s has partnered with The Inbetweeners movies to promote the instant hot noodles packed in RPC Blackburn’s distinctive Snack Pots.
