Duralectra-CHN, one of the leading aluminum finishers on the East Coast of the U.S., announced that it will showcase the MICRALOX anodic coating and SANFORD PRINT, a unique printing application, at Design 2 Part show.
Design 2 Part is the largest tradeshow for selling custom parts and services, which will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee on September 28-29, 2011. The company will discuss the outstanding corrosion resistance and chemical stability of the anodic coating. In addition, it will demonstrate how MICRALOX can be used by customers in key medical manufacturing facilities such as the Southeast US to resolve basic performance and quality issues.
Recently, there has been an increased force to alter the specification for anodic coatings employed in reusable medical devices. Duralectra-CHN has gained a strong positive response for MICRALOX from Europe and the U.S., as the material has an ability to maintain the same mechanical and physical properties of a conventional anodic coating and to preserve the design and color flexibility of decorative anodizing. In addition, the coating possesses a higher chemical resistance so that it does not deteriorate, discolor or fade with regular sterilization and cleaning and it is ROHS compliant.
Duralectra-CHN will display SANFORD PRINT that does printing below the oxide surface. The blend of SANFORD PRINT and MICRALOX is ideal for applications that require a potential coating and printing solution for manufacturing aluminum-based reusable medical devices.
