Garland Canada, one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of high-performance roofing and flooring products for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, has unveiled the new White-Stallion Plus coating to provide additional liquid waterproofing protection to an existing roof system.
White-Stallion Plus coatings restore and revitalize aged roof systems
The advanced multipurpose roof restoration coating system maintains, repairs and revitalizes the performance of the aged roof systems.
White-Stallion Plus is a high-emittance and reflectance, single-component aliphatic urethane coating that provides excellent reflectivity and enhanced tear and tensile strength. It is a cost-effective solution for the replacement of modified bitumen, smooth BUR, metal and single-ply roofs. Garland’s advanced coating can be used as a topcoat or base coat and it can be easily applied by spray, roller or brush. The new and enhanced roof restoration system offers additional waterproofing protection in the range 32 to 64 wet mils or 26 to 53 dry mils.
The new coating system employs chemically engineered reinforcement technology that is utilized in the high-performance fabric sector. The technology helps the coating to achieve a tear strength of more than 700 lbf./in and a tensile strength of 1700 psi. White-Stallion Plus has a Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) rating of 110, emittance rating of 0.89 and reflectance rating of 0.87.
