Park Electrochemical, a global supplier of advanced materials has declared the launch of its N7000-3 laminate material system to support its current N7000-3 prepreg.
The new N7000-3 laminate material is the latest member of Park Electrochemical’s portfolio of UL 94V-1-designated polyimide prepreg and laminate materials. The company now offers this innovative material system worldwide. The UL 94V-1 designation fulfills the NASA specifications that the material does not have any traceable bromine.
The high –Tg polyimide material, N7000-3 laminate system utilizes stronger resin chemistry. This innovative material is engineered for a broad array of applications demanding high consistency, multilayer construction and fine geometry.
Park Electrochemical has been offering N7000-3 as a prepreg material since 1999 for utilization with its N7000-2 HT laminate system. The launch of the novel N7000-3 laminate material will now allow the company’s customers to produce printed circuit boards using a pure N7000-3 system.
Park Electrochemical designs and produces sophisticated composite material assemblies and components for the aerospace industry, high-technology microwave, RF and digital printed circuit materials mainly for the high-end computing markets and internet and telecommunications infrastructure. The company specializes in the fields of coating technology and polymer chemistry formulation. It has production facilities in Washington, California, Arizona, Kansas, Connecticut, France, China and Singapore.
