National Envelope, manufacturers of envelopes and portfolio of The Gores Group, has declared that it exclusively joins with TreeZero to develop the envelopes completely out of “tree free” paper. It is the first company to produce envelopes using TreeZero paper.
The TreeZero papers used for producing these long-lasting and eco-friendly envelopes do not contain wood or wood fibers, which is used in the manufacturing process. Instead of wood or wood fibers, the TreeZero papers are manufactured from the bagasse, which is a 100% byproduct of the sugar cane. Even though it is produced from the byproducts of sugarcane, there is no separate harvesting of the sugar cane specifically for the manufacturing of these wood/wood fiber free papers. The sugar cane’s byproduct is diverted from burning or land filling, which makes it an environmentally- friendly option. The harvesting of sugar cane can be performed twice a year, which ensures renewable source for these paper manufacturing. The company will introduce the envelope, made of the TreeZero papers, by a brand name called ‘TreeFrog’.
Ken Winterhalter, Chief Executive Officer and President of National Envelope, stated that being the market leader in eco-friendly responsible products, the company is delighted to introduce completely environmentally friendly and long lasting “TreeFrog” envelopes.
Mike Nilan, Chief Executive Officer of TreeZero, said that TreeZero is thrilled about this new product and anticipates that the quality of TreeFrog envelopes will impress the customers of National Envelope. Nilan added that TreeZero is happy with the partnership of National Envelope towards creating high-quality and completely eco-friendly products.
