American Rare Earths and Materials Signs Agreement to License its K061 Processing Technology

Canadian company, American Rare Earths and Materials (AREM), a company specialising in commercial Rare Earth metals has announced that it has signed a MOU with Eureka Technologies for the licensing of its K061 processing technology that has been patented.

The K061 processing technology has been developed to convert toxic wastes into materials that can be sold commercially like zinc, lead and iron.

Eureka Technologies was chosen for this agreement due to their expertise in finding solutions to environmental issues by processing industrial wastes. For this purpose, the company has a fully operational metallurgical research and developmental laboratory and a metal fabrication facility. Due to the availability of these facilities, Eureka Technologies is able to address the issues ranging from the laboratory scale to equipment for designing and building and the systems necessary to complete the project. The technologies involved in the agreement have four chemical and process patents and these technologies will also be used to explore tough ores in order to extract rare earths.

AREM also specialises in the development of advanced materials and chemicals and supplying rare earth metals to industries such as power transmission, aerospace, automotive, transportation, ship building and alternative energy, which have high demand for rare earth metals and at the same time, provide high returns with fewer risks.
