To celebrate gold's role in science and technology in the International Year of Chemistry, the World Gold Council and the RSC have teamed up to develop this unique microsite offering free access to some of the RSC's best gold-related publications until the end of 2011.
There is a spread of historical and cutting-edge papers, spanning catalysis, chemistry, nanotechnology and novel materials. More details are available on the RSC Publishing Blog.
The RSC supports the chemistry of gold in all aspects of its work. For example, Chemistry World regularly features gold in news and articles, most recently an article about the use of gold to catalyse cross-coupling reactions. RSC and WGC would also warmly welcome your input into the Gold Faraday Discussions held on 4th July 2011.
To find out more about the element Gold listen to the Chemistry World Podcast narrated by Johnny Ball or view the Visual Elements Periodic Table Gold page. You can also sign up for e-alerts from the World Gold Council and view more gold research articles at the Gold Bulletin site.
