LexJet Infinium will use any material to replicate a user-defined, complete-color pictures and graphics that can be employed in a wide range of promotional and decorative applications on demand.
The company has launched the first completely transportable graphical Infinium, which is a print medium having a laminate and adhesive formed into single conformable material, for the decorating and graphics companies. The fully transportable Infinium material is not a film or a paper, but it is a clear material, in which the image is printed on its reverse side. This reverse printable medium can be virtually applied to any unusual or irregular substrates or surfaces using any Infinium bond including a primer, heat or water depending on the application.
The LexJet medium will completely become a significant portion of the material, when it is applied on that material. Whereas when the medium is applied to a canvas, it will retain the exact feel and look of the canvas other than the complete color picture that decorates it, as if no medium was applied to the canvas. The Infinium print medium will exhibit the same feature for any material such as stone, tile, leather and wood, thereby creating a customized full-color high-quality photographic picture for use in various decorative and promotional applications.
The LexJet Infinium print medium is developed using water-based materials and is sustainable since it is PVC-free and does not include VOCs. The LexJet Infinium material is featured with print, laminate and adhesive qualities, thereby eliminating the waste and production steps. The LexJet Infinium material can be compatibly employed in post-print processes such as laser routing, thermoforming and cutting without altering the graphic, which uses solvent, latex, UV-curable, and less solvent large format printing systems.
