Carpenter researchers succeeded in creating a new foam chemistry known as IsoFresh that helps to neutralize the smell in new foam bedding products.
Carpenter has spent huge investments at its Reinhart Technical Center for R&D and has successfully produced innovative products like IsoFresh. Foam is modified at the molecular level using IsoFresh susch that its complete structure enable neutralizing of odors at their source.
According to the senior vice president of consumer products, Dan Schecter, IsoFresh is a major achievement for the Reinhart Center. He added that the company strives to enhance the experience of its customers and depending on their feedback apply the technical and scientific resources of the Tech Centre to create superior mattress pads, pillows and mattress toppers.
IsoFresh will be shipped to SleepBetter product retailers in January 2012.
