UBM has declared results from the InnoPack event for novel pharmaceutical packaging concepts, which was held from 25 to 27 October 2011 at Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany. InnoPack featured more than 100 new exhibitors and people attended from over 152 countries.
The event provides an exclusive platform that enabled sellers and buyers from the pharmaceutical and packaging to come together and enabled creation of business opportunities globally. Exhibitors at InnoPack 2011 came a several pharmaceutical packaging companies from China, Europe and the US providing resources for closures, materials, labeling, track-and-trace solutions, anti-counterfeiting solutions and software.
For the three days, along with the show floor, there were several additional educational sessions. On the first day, "Innovation Briefs", was conducted in which high-level executives in the packaging industry offered insights on innovations and present trends in packaging. There were "Speaker's Corners" that enabled networking advantages and extensive learning. The "Packaging Trail" showcased customized resources for pharmaceutical packaging requirements during the events.
Drug delivery systems, contract packers were featured in the Contract and Outsourced Services, ICSE event along the Packaging Trail and P-MEC Europe featured novel packing technology manufacturers such as capsule fillers, tabulating resources and track and trace products. InnoPack showcased the Labelling Zone having track and trace and anti-counterfeiting requirements.
