North American electronic interconnect product distributor, Heilind Electronics has acquired another electronic components distributor from Brazil named Kotek Eletro Eletronica. Kotek Eletro is a privately owned company, which manufactures products from its headquarters located in Sao Paulo, for Original Equipment Manufacturers and other contract manufacturers.
Heilind Electronics’ President, Robert W. Clapp stated that Kotek's expertise in technical support and customer service will significantly boost the company’s ability to sustain its South American clients. The company is also delighted to expand into the South American market and make Kotek and its staff a part of the Heilind group, Clapp said.
Kotek Director, Carlos Oliva said that the company is happy to collaborate with Heilind Electronics, who is renowned for distributing connectors and electromechanical equipment. Olivia further said that the company is looking forward to provide Heilind's advanced inventory and supply chain solutions to its customers.
Heilind specialises in the distribution of switches, relays, thermal management, connectors, terminal blocks, insulation and identification products, wire and cable, circuit protection products and wiring accessories. The company is a franchise for more than 100 product lines including leading brands such as Molex, Panduit, TE Connectivity, Alpha, JST, 3M, JAE, FCI and Belden. The company also ensures that all the products it distributes are RoHS compliant as per the rules laid out by the European Union.
