US based automotive supplier, Visteon will showcase its range of automotive innovations at the International CES 2012. This is the largest consumer technology exhibition in the world which will be held in Las Vegas from January 10-13.
The company will display its innovations which have been created keeping the perceptions of the customer while driving a vehicle in mind. As a result, innovations which relate to personal, engaging, accessible, simple and non-distracting features will be exhibited. A range of electronic equipment for vehicle cockpit such as driver information, infotainment, covering audio, control panels and displays will form a part of an interactive display from the company. Visteon will focus on demonstrating its ability to understand the needs of the consumer and use its market presence to create products that are highly useful and relevant to consumers.
During the exhibition, the company will unveil a digital radio manufactured for the Indian market, wireless charging, connected cockpit, diagnostic applications for vehicles and other advanced levels of communication between human beings and machines.
According to the company’s Product Group President Steve Meszaros, the need to create such new products for the automotive industry arises from the fact that consumers are becoming more and more aware of advanced technology and they need to be connected with the outside world even when they are in their vehicle.
