Applied Market Information (AMI) has announced the programme for the AMI Masterbatch 2012 conference and will shortly celebrate the conference’s 25th anniversary.
AMI will conduct this conference at Vienna’s Imperial Riding School Renaissance hotel from 19 to 21 June, 2012. BASF will sponsor the headline. MCA Technologies, Buss and Nubiola are the other sponsors of the symposium. The masterbatch conference continuously presents innovative concepts for the industry. Through this event, the masterbatch industry will get an opportunity to know about the latest added-value products, which are currently being developed, and can interact directly with customers to learn about the industry’s current trends..
The event will display a series of presentations, which will focus on new trends in special effect pigments, colorants and functional additives to provide a fresh insight on adding value to the products. Papers from BASF, Cabot, MCA Technologies, Merck and Nubiola will be discussed in the pigments session, while papers from Danisco, Dupont, BASF Schweiz and Sabic discussing about the advancements in functional additives and resins will be presented in the materials session.
Additionally, updates from equipment providers will be included in the masterbatch conference. These updates will show how to reduce expenses and enhance performance. Presentations from key equipment providers such as Leistritz, Coperion and Buss will also be included. This conference will be supplemented by presentations focussing on colour trends and design in consumer products.
