Scotch Greener Masking Tapes have been launched by 3M and are specifically designed to offer great performances like other Scotch Masking Tapes.
These tapes consume less paper resources and form lower wastes. The company manufactures these new tapes using 56% of renewable resources, in which paper backing is included. Adhesive made of regenerating and natural latex, and 30% of post consumer recycled content are used in manufacturing this paper backing. Water-based and solvent-free methods are utilized in the tape production. The shipping cartons are produced using 100% recycled fiber and the core of the tape has 87% of post-consumer recycled fiber.

Two types of Scotch Greener Masking Tapes are available for performance painting 2050 and for basic painting 2025. A thicker backing is featured in the performance painting tape, which has medium-high adhesion suitable for trim, wood cabinets and woodworks. Highly-adhesive basic painting tape is perfect for use on carpet, wood and vinyl surfaces. Scotch Greener Masking Tape for Basic Painting 2025 and Performance Painting 2050 features 3-day removal and 5-day removal, respectively. It is used for school and domestic purposes like labeling, crafting projects, and other indoor applications.
