Shimadzu Scientific Instruments will showcase its expansive portfolio of mass spectrometry systems and platforms, including three new mass spectrometers, and the latest research, as well as host a scientific dinner and breakfast seminars, hospitality suite and press conference at the 60th ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry (May 19-24, Vancouver Convention Center, British Columbia, Booth 55).
Shimadzu will unveil three new mass spectrometers at this year's conference. These state-of-the-art instruments will be on display at the Shimadzu hospitality suite, located in the East Building, rooms 10, 11 and 12 of the convention center. Attendees can also pick up information about these mass spectrometers at the booth.
At 5 p.m., May 19, Shimadzu will host a scientific dinner event at the Pan Pacific Hotel, Oceanview Suite 5. Topics featured at the dinner will be complementary qualitative and quantitative analysis using IT-TOF and QQQ mass spectrometry; UHPLC-triple quadrupole mass spectrometers; and challenges in supervised and unsupervised LC-MS(/MS)-based metabolomics.
Shimadzu also will host breakfast seminars from 7 to 8 a.m., May 21-23, in their hospitality suite. Topics showcased at the breakfast seminars include biomarker development, applications of UHPLC-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry, and top-down proteomics using MALDI ISD and MSn.
This year, Shimadzu will participate in more than 70 poster presentations covering a variety of topics, including biomarkers, forensics, food safety, environmental, clinical, proteomics and small molecule analysis.
