Imec, a nanoelectronics research company, has commenced its 22ndImec Technology Forum (ITF2012), which is being conducted from May 22 to 24 in Belgium.
Imec executives, leading researchers, policy makers and prominent industry speakers from across the globe will discuss market trends, innovations and advanced research in energy, communication systems, smart vision, healthcare and nanoelectronics. The annual technology forum is the perfect networking platform, where major players across the industry and research institutes can discuss their views to move ahead in a rapidly developing society, remarked Luc Van den hove, imec’s President and CEO.
The keynote speakers and attendees of the event are mostly top level executives from global research institutes, universities, medical device manufacturers, equipment and material suppliers, fabless and fablite firms, foundries, system houses and IDMs. There are about 500 registered attendees for the ITF2012 event. The keynote speakers at ITF2012 include Pieter Vorenkamp, SVP of operations engineering at Broadcom; Mike Muller, CTO at ARM; Rudi Pauwels, Founder and Executive Chairman at Biocartis; Benedetto Vigna, Corporate Vice President and GM of STMicroelectronics’ analog, MEMS and sensors product group; Gregg Bartlett, CTO atGlobalFoundries;NeelieKroes, VP ofthe European Commission; and Dennis McGuirk, President and CEO at SEMI.
