Virtual Industries, a manual vacuum handling solutions provider, has reported that the new WV-9000 WAFER-VAC System will be featured in the upcoming SEMICON West conference and exhibition in California. This program will be held from July 10 to 12, 2012. The system is used to handle solar cells and wafers.
In-house air plumbing is not essential, when this new WV-9000 WAFER-VAC system is deployed. This wafer vacuum handling tool directly plugs into 50/60 Hz and 110 V. An extensive variety of components, which are currently utilized in the industry, can be handled by the compact unit. Up to 10 in. of mercury is produced through the durable diaphragm vacuum pump, along with 2.3 lpm of open air flow.
With the help of a three-wire power cord, the ESD safe unit is automatically linked to ground. A push-button wafer tip pen VWP-500-2.5 mm, a lighted on/off switch and a 6 ft clear coiled vacuum hose are included in the WV-9000 WAFER-VAC system, which is Class 100 clean room safe.
