Hi-Temp Coatings Technology and PPG Industries’ protective and marine coatings business (PMC) have announced that they have inked an international distribution contract for select HI-TEMP branded products.
Hi-Temp produces coatings, which have the capability to withstand severe temperatures and can protect stainless steel as well as carbon steel substrates used in piping, stacks, boilers and similar equipment.
The coating products from Hi-Temp are extensively utilized in power plants, refineries, pulp and paper mills, and petrochemical facilities. Some coatings can be applied when the equipment is being operated. Corrosion under insulation (CUI) on surfaces, which will then be insulated post coating, can be prevented with the help of this coating line.
According to PPG’s Vice President, protective and marine coatings, Tom Mauck, the company can help protect most of the significant assets and is delighted to add Hi-Temp’s coatings to its product line. PPG in partnership with Hi-Temp can provide more quality options to worldwide customers so as to meet their demands for coating products.
Hi-Temp Coatings Technology’s Founder and CEO, Fred Zupicich, commented that the company is expecting to work with PPG in a long-term collaboration, which will enable both the companies to better serve their clients located across the international market.
PPG will supply its PMC product offerings like SIGMA COATINGS, PITT-CHAR and AMERCOAT brand products.
