Sealant Equipment + Engineering’s New Dispense System for Two-Part Materials

Sealant Equipment & Engineering’s new Servo-Flo 105-HV High Volume, Variable-Ratio Meter System is suitable to perform high-accuracy meter-mix dispensing processes for two-part materials.

Sealant Equipment-Servo-Flo 105-HV Adhesive Dispense System

The high volume design enables dispensing of as high as 35 cubic inches, 575 cc, of mixed and metered material at a ratio of 1:1. The innovative design of the dual servo motor system facilitates the adjustment of the ratio without mechanical modifications to the machine. It is possible to adjust the material ratio without expensive mechanical equipment changes.

The positive rod displacement metering system delivers optimal ratio control and dispensing precision. For accurate ratio control, each meter is pre-pressurized to the designated setting by independent servo motors to ensure accurate on-ratio start of dispense in order to avoid off-ratio conditions during the start of the dispensed material. The system can offer a variety of shot volume sizes, constant bead diameters, and react to flow rate inputs for changing robot movement speeds. Moreover, flow rates remain on-ratio and can be altered during the dispense cycle.

As a positive rod displacement metering system, the new Servo-Flo 105 system allows for dispensing of accurate bead profiles and accurate volumetric shots. The meter system can process low- and high-viscosity materials, which are supplied by pumps or tanks to the system. The Servo-Flo 105 meter, supply and control panel can be portable-cart mounted, floor-mounted or placed in a cabinet with several dispensing features.

The system program facilitates more than 250 pre-programmed dispense settings for a variety of part sizes. The system’s operator interface control rapidly sets dispense flow rates and changes material ratios, thus enabling to change durometer or cure time for some two-part materials based on supplier’s alternate formulation or batch variation, and types of materials such as acrylic, urethane, silicone and epoxy.
