Research and Markets, the company providing market research solutions, has added a new report titled, "China Non-metallic Refractory Building Materials Market Report, 2012" to its product offering.
The report commences with an overview of the non-metallic refractory building materials market in China and proceeds to highlight the details of the foreign market for the non-metallic refractory building materials. China has many accomplishments to its credit like the product structure adjustment, upgrading of craft and equipment and industrial structure upgrading. All these achievements along with the rapid advancement of technology employed in high temperature industries have driven the Chinese refractory industry.
As per data during the year 2011, the major refractory materials manufacturing areas of China are Liaoning, Shanxi, Shandong and Henan. The four provinces together constituted 86.86% of the country’s total production output for refractory materials. The country’s total volume of refractory output for 2011 was 29.4969 million tons. The contribution of dense shaped refractory product to this volume was 17.6522 million tons. The industry registered a year-on-year growth rate of 3.9%. The output volume for the refractory products for heat preservation and heat insulation in the year 2011 was 673,400 tons. The sector registered a year-on-year growth rate of 4.57%. Unshaped refractory products clocked in a year-on-year growth rate of 6.93% with an output of 11.1713 million tons in 2011.
The contribution to the dense shaped refractory products from clay bricks was 4.2196 million tons and from high alumina bricks was 2.8799 million tons. Siliceous bricks contributed 2.6340 million tons, while magnesia bricks contributed 2.0654 million tons. Special refractory products registered a decline in growth by 6.07%.
