Cryogenic Institute of New England, Inc., a leading provider of Cryogenic Services such as cryogenic deflashing & deburring, cryogenic treatment, thermal cycling and dry ice blast cleaning, has received its registration from National Quality Assurance, U.S.A., after assessment of the company's quality system and found it to be in compliance with ISO 9001:2008.
ISO 9001 is a quality assurance model made up of 20 sets of quality system requirements. This model applies to organizations that design, develop, produce, install, and service products. The ISO standard expects
organizations to apply this model, and to meet these requirements through the development of a quality system.
The quality policy of The Cryogenic Institute of New England is to provide "excellence in workmanship and adherence to work processes and controls." As such, the company has developed a quality system and manual designed to support this policy. "We have always had a quality control system but, the additional structure of the ISO 9001 registration has helped us to improve our on-time delivery to greater than 97%, in addition our customer satisfaction is now at 98%", stated Dave Hilman, Quality Manager at Cryogenic Institute.
When asked about the importance of the ISO registration, Robin Rhodes, President, adds, "We are proud to have received ISO certification. Our customers can feel confident relying on our services because they know
