Evonik Oil Additives Presents Motorcycle Engine Oil Paper at F&L Asia

Evonik Oil Additives’ Tan Kien Wee (Ben), Technical Service Manager for the S.E.A. region and Australia, presented a paper titled “The Influence of Viscosity Index Improver Type on the Viscosities of Motorcycle Engine Oils Targeting Improved Fuel Economy” at the 19th Annual Fuels and Lubes Asia Conference in Bangkok, Thailand on March 15.

In preparing the study on which the paper is based, the paper's authors, Evonik's Tan Kien Wee (Ben), Frank Lauterwasser, Phil Hutchinson and Yasushi Naitoh conducted blend studies of SAE viscosity grades commonly used in 4T motorcycle engines.

Evonik Oil Additives sponsored the conference’s opening cocktail reception on March 13 and was available for questions at stand 38 during the exhibition portion of the event.
