Ambrell, an Ameritherm company and a leading manufacturer of induction heating systems, will attend EASTEC 2013. The event will take place May 14-16 in West Springfield, MA and Ambrell representatives will be present in booth 2008.
EASTEC is targeted at northeastern manufacturers, in markets such as aerospace, defense, medical devices, consumer products and more. Ambrell has extensive experience helping companies in the aforementioned markets with heating applications such as aerospace fastener preheating for forging, nanoparticle heating, catheter tipping, consumer products cap sealing and much more.
Induction heating is a rapid, efficient, controllable, non-contact method of heating electrically conductive materials. Nonconductive materials can also be heated with a conductive susceptor. Systems often require less of a footprint than other heating methods; especially when one considers that the coil and workhead can be placed away from the induction power supply.
Ambrell manufactures a wide range of high and low frequency induction heating systems, ranging from 1 kW to 1.6 MW. Systems are manufactured at its Scottsville, NY USA headquarters. The cornerstone of the Ambrell experience is its applications testing. The Ambrell Applications Lab will test the client’s application and recommend the right system based on their process requirements.
“We’re looking forward to exhibiting at EASTEC,” said Tom Dickerson, Director of Sales. “We have a great base of customers in the northeast, as we have a strong history of supporting universities, medical manufacturers, aerospace companies, consumer products firms and the other industrial clusters in the northeast. We look forward to seeing our current customers, and showing new customers how our solutions can help increase their productivity.”
