The award recognizes the supplier achieving the highest level of cooperation in a variety of criteria to support Labinal’s success during the year.

Of the top 100 suppliers to Labinal, Esterline Souriau was chosen as the 2012 Supplier of the Year for achieving high marks in the key focus areas for the award and also for showing a desire to progress through a process of continuous improvement.
The criteria for the award include: responsiveness, reliability, and competitiveness in the day-to-day relationship with Labinal and other partners; a focus on continuous improvement and lean culture, risk management, and an ability to implement innovative standards; and success in supply chain optimization efforts including lead time reductions, quality policies, and flexibility to support short-term or unforeseen needs.
